Attitude in Adversity

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus”
(Philippians 2:5, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

There’s an old saying “attitude determines altitude.” In other words, a positive, faith-filled attitude will cause you to rise higher in life, but a negative, self-critical attitude will only drag you down.
When we face adversity, our attitude affects the outcome. Are we going to treat people right even when we’re being mistreated? Are we going to stay full of joy even when the bottom falls out? So many people get all bent out of shape and start complaining when things don’t go their way, but that kind of attitude only closes the door to God’s miracle-working power. The Bible says that faith is what pleases God. Understand that He’s trying to work in your life. He’s trying to get you prepared for promotion, but you’ve got to stay on His side. You’ve got to stand strong and fight that good fight of faith!
If you are going through a difficult time today, I encourage you to keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Start thanking God for bringing you through to the other side. As you stand strong, I believe you’ll rise higher. I believe you’ll come out stronger and wiser, and you will continue moving forward in the abundant life God has for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I choose to have a positive, faith-filled attitude. I choose to bless You and trust You even when things don’t make sense in my natural mind. I know You have a good plan for me and trust that You are working all things out for my good. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He Knows What’s in You

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart”
(Psalm 37:4, AMP)

TODAY'S WORD

Are you believing God for something that seems like it’s taking a long time? In the natural, you may have every reason to give up on what God has placed in your heart. At times, you may be tempted to get discouraged, but remember, God knows exactly where you are. He knows the desires He’s placed within you. He knows even the hidden dreams — what the scripture calls the secret petitions of your heart. Those are the things that you haven’t told anyone about. Maybe you thought they would never work out, or you’ve buried them because they didn’t happen on your timetable. But God still has a way to bring them to pass.
Be encouraged today because God is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Delight yourself in Him — find joy in serving Him and make your heart moldable in His hands. Don’t settle for mediocrity because God knows what’s in you, and His plan is to finish the work He began in you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, I humbly come to You today giving You all that I am. Thank You for fulfilling every desire in my heart. Mold me and shape me into Your image. Remove anything from my life that is displeasing to You so that everything I am brings glory to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Finish Strong!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“...Run in such a way as to get the prize”
(1 Corinthians 9:24, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

Oftentimes, when we have a dream in our heart, we start off strong. We head down the path toward our goal, and we’re so excited! But along the way, we hit some roadblocks and encounter some adversity. Many times, people will just give up and take the easy way out. But we have to remember, it’s not how we start that counts; it’s how we finish. Anybody can be fired up at the beginning, but I’m encouraging you to stick with it until the end! Have the determination to go all the way through. Don’t stop at the halfway mark just because times are tough. Don’t quit because you don’t see anything happening. The scripture tells us not to walk by sight, but to walk by faith.
Today, if there’s a dream in your heart, something you’re believing for — a relationship to turn around, a business opportunity or to overcome an addiction — keep pursuing it! Run your race to win the prize! Don’t settle until you see the fullness of what God has placed in your heart. As you stand strong in your faith, I believe God will pour out His favor and blessing upon you, and you will see the victory He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I choose to stand strong in You. I set my focus on Your promises and choose to run my race with conviction. I let go of the past by faith today and press forward into the destiny You have in store for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Experience His Love

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”
(Romans 8:38–39, KJV)

TODAY’S WORD

God loves you so much today! He wants you to know and experience His love. When you experience something, it becomes real to you. You “own” it, so to speak. For example, let’s say you’ve never eaten chocolate before. Someone else can describe it to you. They can tell you all about the taste and texture, but until you take a bite of it, it won’t really mean anything.
In the same way, you can hear all about God’s love and how wonderful He is, but it’s not until you experience it first hand and allow His love to sink down into your heart that something happens on the inside of you. His love changes you. It builds confidence and strength in you. It empowers you to overcome temptation and to stand strong no matter what difficulty you may be facing. When you open your heart and receive His love, you will be fully persuaded that nothing can separate you from Him!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I open my heart to You today. Fill me with Your love so that I can know You more. I desire to experience You in every part of my being. I surrender every area of my life to You. Have Your way in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Reminding God what he said - Joel Osteen, May 22nd 2011

Based on , Isaiah 62: 6

One of the powerful ways to pray, is to find a promise in scripture and remind God what he said about you.
God you said, I am blessed and cannot be cursed,
God you said, with long life, you will satisfy me,
God you said, your favor is not for a season, but for a life time.

When you can say, God you said, all of heaven comes to attention, God is faithful to his word;
Isaiah 62:6 in the Amplified says, Put God in remembrance of his promises.
it does not say, Put God in remembrance of your problems,

Sometimes we use prayer as an excuse to complain. God these people at work, they are not treating me right.
God these gas prices are high, I dont know, how I am going to make it.

God these children are gettting on my nerve,I cant take it anymore, you dont have to tell God about your problems, God already knows everything your going through, he know every need, every concern, he know the number of hair on our head.

If you want to see situations change, instead of complaining, find a promise that you can stand on and go to God and say, when the enemy comes in one way, you would defeat them, and cause them to go in seven different ways.

Yes God the gas prices are high, but I am not focused on that, God you said, you will supply all of my needs, according to your riches, You said, your Jehovah Jireh the lord my provider.

Yes, these people at work are not treating me right. but I am not here to complain. What is meant for my harm, you will use it for your advantage,

When you put God in remembrance of his promises, that is what allows God to bring it to pass,

You may not feel well today. the medical report does not look good. you could easily be saying, God I dont think I am going to make it, I don't see how I am going to be healthy, God the report is so bad.

Instead of putting God in remembrance of your problems, Put God in remembrance of his promises,
God you said, you would, heal me of my wounds, you would restore health back unto me,
God you said, with Long life you will satisfy me, I will live and not die,
God you said, what is impossible with men, is possible with God,

When you pray the promises, instead of praying the problem, you will not only feel better, it will not only
change your attitude, from a victim to a victor, but Gods word coming out of your mouth, is alive and full of power, when God hears his promises, he dispatches angels with this answers, he sets the miracle into motion, he begins to change things in your favor, it may not happen over night, but if you will stay in faith, and keep reminding God, what he promised you, day after day, instead of complaining, "God you said", instead of begging, God you said, instead of describing the situation, "God you said". if you get into a habit of God you said, eventually you will see, what God said, will come to pass in your life,in other words, one day, you wont be saying, God you said, you would be saying God you did, you turned it around, you healed me, you blessed me, you delivered me, you restored me, you favored me, you are true to what you say,

Joel, says as a parent, when we promise our children something, we will do everything we possibly can to bring that promise to pass. Its in our nature.

Joels daughter Alexandra loves to go to disney world. Joel took when she was just 3-4 years old, shes been hooked ever since. She is 12 now, she has not been there quiet sometime now. But about a year ago, I was putting her in bed, she said, Daddy, I really want to go back to disney world, will you take me sometime, I did'nt think much about it. I said, Oh sure, we ll go. I will take you sometime .

Dad, sure, you promise? Joel was not sure what he was going into.

The next day, Dad, you said we are going to Disney world, now when are we going. I thought, man, I just got out of bed, every other day, Joel heard, daddy you said, daddy you said,  Joel must have heard that a thousand times. She was not going to let me forget that promise,

Joel said to Alexandra, Do you know where we are going tomorrow after service, Disney world.

If we as earthly parents are that moved when our children remind us what we promised, if we feel that strongly,  how much more is God going to be faithful to his word. Gods word cannot lie. we can break promises, I could have gotten out of it, finagled my way, not been true to what I said, but God cannot go back on his word. All of his promises are Yes and Amen. Some of you today should find out some "you said" , Father you said,  I will lend and not borrow. Remind God about it again and again. you may be struggling. Business is slow, it does'nt look good, but don't go to God with that. Go to him with a "You said". Father you said, you would open the windows of heaven. "You said", whatever I touch will succeed. "You said" my cup will run over. "You said", you would prosper me even in the desert. when your constantly reminding God, what he said, you wont find time to complain. You wont get discouraged until you have Gods promises coming from your mouth. Take a "you said and go to God.

Joel talked to a lady last week ,she said, Her marriage of 17 yrs is coming to an end. she is very devastated. the husband left for someone else, her whole world has fallen apart, its easy to get depressed, fall into self pity, not have any hope for the future, but Joel shared with her, what I am sharing with you today, You go to find some "You said"
God you said, you will give beauty for these ashes.
God you said, you will pay me double for the unfair things that have happenened.
God you said, my end would be better than my beginning. you are tempted to feel sorry for yourself.
just turn it around and declare, you said.

All through the day, you must be putting God in remembrance of his promises, Just like Alexandra, early in the morning, we would be eating breakfast, Daddy "You said",we would be going to disney
world. when are we going?? Alexandra I dont know yet, but "Daddy you said". Joel would tell her, I know I said it, you have reminded me 450 times. We are going to Disney world tomorow, not because I said. its because she would leave me alone.

The rest of the passage goes on to say, "Put God in remembrance of his promises, keep not silent. Give him no rest until it comes to pass". thats wat Alexandra did. she has given Joel no rest. she has kept not silent.

You've got to be persistant, you've got to show God, you mean business.

God you said, the moment I pray, the tide of the battle begins to turn,
Taking a shower, God you said, I am more than a conquerer.
Driving to work, God you said, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but you deliver me out of them all.
At the office, under your breadth, you hold victory instore for the upright.
Coming home, God you said, you go before me and make crooked places straight.
Its not saying once, and leaving it,

It says, Keep not silent, you ve got to be persistant, another way of sayin it is you've got to be a pest, about reminding God, what he has promised you. not begging, not demanding, but persistant, in other words, relentless.

Jesus told a parable of an unfair, unjust Judge, who neither respected people, nor feared God. One day, this widow woman came to this judge, I've got a problem, this man is bothering me, I need protection, she was saying in affect, the law is on my side, I've got a promise from the government, to enforce this law. well this Judge paid, no attention, didnt give her the time of day. He just dismissed her and said, hey, quit bothering, leave my court room, I am not going to rule over that case. She left but she didnt get discouraged, She knew the law was on her side. she went everyday, week after week. When he walked in his court, there was that lady on the front row, making her case, ruling my favor, the law is on my side, they can leave me alone. finally she wore the judge down. Finally the judge agreed to solve her problem. She had this shameless persistance.

Joel loves what his sister did. She said this one Wednesday couple of night ago, She and her husband Kevin, were trying to have a baby for 6 years with no success, Lisa wrote out a contract, between her and God. She listed all the promises, she was standing on, concerning having children, she made it like a legal contract, she
even signed at the bottom, and she had kevin sign as well.

Isaiah 41 says, Present your case to God, make your arguments, bring forth your proof. Lisa wrote at the top
God, Kevin and I are presenting this case to you. Our case is based on your word. God you said, in Genesis 1:28 to be fruitful and multiply, God how can we do that, unless you help us.

God you said, in Psalm 112, that our children will be mighty in the land,
God how can that be, if you dont give us children,

God you said in Psalm 13, You would make the barren woman, a happy mother of children,
How can I be a happy mother, if you dont give us children,

God we hav done everything we can do, now we are presenting out our case before you, based on your word, knowing that you are faithful and true to what you said.

Lisa took that contract, that peice of paper, filled with scriptures, and she put it in her mirror at home,
in the bathroom. All through the day, she would see it again and again, week after week, reminding God,
what he promised her. About 2 years later, God blessed them with twins, and now they have 3 beautiful children,

God was faithful to his word.

Joels, question today is are you presenting your case? Do you have any proof? Have you done like Lisa and found the promises, where you can say, God you said, You would make me a happy mother of children,
God you said, you would restore what the enemy had stolen.
God you said, you would give me the desires of my heart.
If you will present your case before God, the good news is, Jesus is called our advocate, another word is lawyer, Imagine in the courtroom of heaven, God is the Judge and Jesus is our lawyer, as long as your case is built of Gods word,  you cannot loose, God is true to what he said. When you go to Heaven to present your case, say, "God you said, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
God you said, your a very present help in time of trouble, heres my evidence, Psalm 46: 1
God you said, the strength of the wicked is being cut off. but the power of the Godly is being increased. Heres my evidense, Psalms 75: 10
God you said, because I dwell in the secret place, no harm will come near my dwelling. here is my evidence Psalm 91

When you go to God with a "You said", when you remind him what he promised, Thats a powerful case, thats an unbeatable case, some of you are busy pleading your case, but if you would switch over and presenting your case, you would see God presenting to change things in your favor.

Joel knew a lady, she was in odds with her teenage daughter for many years, she would come down for prayer, quiet often. More than coming to prayer, it was like, she really need to complain. One day Joel shared this principle, instead of complaining to God about her daughter you need to remind God what he promised you. Joel gave this scripture, in proverbs 31, it says, children will rise up and call their mother blessed. at that time, her daughter was calling her every name except blessed she took it to heart all through the day, Fathher you said, my children will rise up and call me  blessed. when her daughter was disrespectful, she would say, Fathher you said, you will  call me  blessed. she found other promises, concerning children. God you said,
children are a gift from God. to be enjoyed, she presented her case. brought that evidence, it was about 3 years later, that lady had a total change of heart, today the mom and daughter, are best friends the young lady is as kind and respectful as can be. they do everything together. including come to church together.

1 Chronicles 1:17, God gave David a promise, that seemed almost impossible. David did'nt come from a very influential family. He was'nt the most talented, the most educated, the smartest, he was just an ordinary person, yet God said to him. David, one of your descendants will always be in the throne of Israel. Your dynasty will never come to an end. David was overwhelmed. I am just a shepherd boy, your talking to me like I am somebody great. He could have easily dismissed that promise, let it go in one ear, out the other. Davids attitude was, if your bold enough to promise it, I am bold enough to believe it. He came into an agreement with God.

It may seem impossible, instead of telling God, how you will never be successful, how you will never accomplish your dream, Why don't you go to God, with an Ephesians 3:20, God you said, you would do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond what we could ask think or imagine in our lives, why dont you take, I Corinthians 2:9, God you said, I have not seen, heard or imagined, the amazing things you have in my future, are you pleading you case, or are you presenting your case.  reminding God what "he said."

God makes an amazing promise in Gen 12:2 - I will make your name Great, one translation says, I will make your name distinguished. thats a great promise, to remind God.

Dont plead your case, but "Present your case". Remind God what he said about you, make a list of the promises that your standing on, Read that over and over again. Put it up somewhere so that you can see it. All through out the day, keep not silent, not begging God, not nagging GOd, In faith go to God, with a "You said. If you put God, in remembrance of his promises, and not put God in remembrance of your problems, God is faithful to his word. He will do what he promised. You will rise higher, Overcome every obstacle, Accomplish dreams, Defeating enemy, We beieve and declare, your going  to be everything God has created you to be, Your going to be, everything God has created you to be , You will have everything God has intended for you to have. in Jesus name. Amen.

Fulfilling the Law of Christ

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”
(Galatians 6:2, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

When we live in peace and unity, it pleases God. When we love and serve others, putting their needs above our own, we are honoring Him. When we carry each other's burdens, we are fulfilling the law of Christ, which is to love others.
What does it mean to carry each other’s burdens? There are many ways to reach out to people and help shoulder their load of life. Just by giving an encouraging word or smile, you can help lighten the load for someone. When you pray and intercede for others in their day of difficulty, you are helping to carry their burdens. Maybe there are other ways to help the people around you. Maybe you can pay for someone’s groceries or give someone cash at the gas pump. Anytime you help others and reach out to those in need, scripture says you are directly lending a hand to God Himself.
Today, look for ways to lighten the load for the people around you. Be a burden lifter. Remember, in God’s kingdom what you sow, you shall reap. When you help others, God promises to repay you. He’ll pour out His victory and blessing upon you all the days of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, I want to fulfill Your law of love by serving and helping others. Show me how to be a blessing to the people around me so that I can help carry their burdens. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Grow Your Faith

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”
(Romans 10:17, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD

Scripture tells us that every person has been given a measure of faith. That faith can grow and increase; or it can be diminished. Notice today’s scripture doesn’t say, “Faith comes by having heard the Word of God one time.” It’s by hearing — present tense. Sure, God’s Word can transform us in an instant, but most of the time, we need to hear God’s truth over and over again in order for it to become active in our lives. The more we hear the Word, the more His truth chisels away at the doubt and unbelief that’s been built up over the years. His truth sets us free and causes our faith to grow!
Just as a seed needs water daily to grow, your spirit needs the Word of God daily. Your faith needs to be watered by His Word. It can be as simple as selecting a few scriptures to meditate on daily. Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. Read them out loud over and over. Let His truth sink down into your heart and move you forward into the freedom and victory He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for Your Word that is living and active and growing in my life. I submit myself to You today and ask You to teach me Your ways. Give me insight into Your Word so that I may know You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

As You Wait

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.”
(James 5:7, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD

God has put dreams and desires in every person’s heart. But most times, there’s a season of waiting involved. Maybe you’re waiting for a relationship to improve; waiting to get married; waiting for a promotion; or waiting to overcome an illness. Much of life is spent waiting. But there’s a right way to wait and there’s a wrong way to wait. Too often, when things don’t happen on our timetable, we get down and discouraged or anxious and fretful. That’s because we’re not waiting the right way.
Notice that today’s verse doesn’t say if you wait, it says as you wait. The fact is we’re all going to wait. It goes on to say that we should consider how the farmer waits — patiently and eagerly. We’re not supposed to sit around discouraged; we’re supposed to be hopeful, positive and full of expectancy!
Today, no matter what you are praying for, expect things to change in your favor. Today could be the day that God turns it all around. As you wait with patience and expectancy, you’ll open the door for God to move. He’ll fight your battles, and you’ll see that abundant harvest He’s promised in every area of your life.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, today I choose to wait expectantly for You. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I put my trust and hope in You knowing that You have good things in store for my future. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Fullness of the Blessing

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.”
(Romans 15:29, NKJ)

TODAY’S WORD

Are you living in the fullness of His blessing? God’s blessing is His supernatural empowerment. It is His favor. And we’ve all seen a measure of His blessing, but I believe He wants to take you to a whole new level. God has promises and opportunities in store for you that you haven’t even thought of yet! What you’ve seen in the past is only a fraction of what God wants to do in your future.
Understand that God likes to outdo Himself. He wants to open doors for you and bring out talents and abilities that you didn’t even know you had. We serve a God of abundance! He is the God of more than enough. Not only does He want to meet your needs, He wants to give you enough to bless other people. That’s living in the fullness of the blessing.
Today, don’t settle where you are. Your destiny is not determined by the economy, your past or what anyone else thinks or says. Your destiny is determined by Almighty God. He wants you to tap into a greater measure of His power so you can live the abundant life He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I come before You today with an open and humble heart, ready to receive all You have for me. Teach me to live a life that is pleasing to You so that I can be an example of Your love in the world around me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Remain in Him

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.”
(John 15:5 NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

Have you ever really thought about the relationship between a branch and the vine? We don’t use these kinds of word pictures very much anymore, but think about it — if the branch is not attached to the vine, it withers and dies. The very life of the branch depends on being attached to the vine. The same thing happens if we try to operate in this life without Jesus. Without Him, we can do nothing. We are cut from our life source. But when you remain in Him by daily connecting with Him through prayer, worship and study of the Word, then your life will be fruitful. You’ll walk in joy and blessing. Notice that this verse says “much fruit.” It’s saying that you will have an abundant harvest in your life. Remember, God doesn’t want you to just barely get by. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness! Choose to remain in Him today; choose to make Him your top priority, and you’ll see His hand of blessing operating in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for being my source of life. Thank You for Your hand of blessing that is leading and guiding me. I choose to make You the number one priority in my life. Let my heart hunger only for You today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ask What You Desire

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
(John 15:7, NKJ)

TODAY’S WORD

It pleases God to give you the desires of your heart! He wants to see you happy, whole, strong and enjoying His blessing. When you make the Word of God your number one priority, when you stay connected to Him through prayer and worship, God promises that He will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 tells us again that if we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts. One of the root definitions of the word “delight” means “soft.” This gives the picture of us being soft and moldable, like clay, in the Potter’s hands. As we allow Him to shape and mold our character, as we yield ourselves to Him, our thoughts become His thoughts, our words become His Words, and our desires become His desires! That’s how we can ask whatever we will because our will is in alignment with Him!
Today, don’t allow the distractions of everyday life keep you from spending time with Him. Abide in Him and let His Words abide in you because He will give you the desires of your heart!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I submit every area of life to You. I invite You to have Your way in my heart. Mold me and make me as I surrender every area of my life to You. I praise You and give You all the glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Are You In?

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJ)

TODAY’S WORD

The very moment we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we instantly become a new creation! Our spirits are made alive in Him and the old passes away. His peace fills our hearts. Now, everything in your life doesn’t change instantly. Some things do, but God will do some things in your life over time as you grow in your relationship with Him. The key is to keep moving forward in your spiritual journey one step at a time. As you abide in Him by spending time with Him in prayer and worship, and as you study His Word and connect with other believers in a Bible-based church, He will continue to transform you and renew you from the inside out!
Today, remember, God is at work in your life. You may not be where you want to be. You may have made some mistakes or had some setbacks. Know that in Him, you are the righteousness of God. In Him, you are new. In Him is everything you need to have victory in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for making me new! Thank You for ordering and directing my steps. I trust that You are at work in my life transforming me into Your image. Keep me close to You as I put You first in everything I do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Something big is coming your way – Joel Osteen, 15th May 2011

Isaiah 54: 2

Today I want to talk to you about, how something big is coming your way.
We serve a Big God, who has Big things for us, Big goals, Big vision, Big opportunities.

I heard about a law enforcement agent, a police officer who was once sketching something on his paper, about a security system, when he we went and provided the sketch to a  Security system designer, they said it was an amazing system, they were amazed at his idea, and they will patent his product, and will provide him 7 Million dollars for the design. This is what God has in store for us.

Isaiah 54: 2 says, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, Do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes
.
See what God is say, Enlarge, Stretch out, Do not hold back, Lengthen, strengthen your stakes, in the same way stretch out your faith, the next verse goes on to say,

For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.

Pray for things that stretch out your faith,
Psalm 2:8 say, Ask of me, and I will give you the nations. Look at Gods big plan, Help buy a house for someone, someday. Lord help me to give more to you each year. Go out, expecting God to do something Big.

There was a man named, Jabez (name means trouble). He knew that God has something big for him.
He was bold to ask God to do something big, Lord enlarge my territory, in great ways.
Have u ever asked God, to do something big in your life?

When I was young, I knew that the solar system was the biggest thing, God ever created. Now, Scientist have discovered that, the stars are so big, that you can put the entire solar system inside a single star, that shows how big our God is. God created it all. God makes streets out of Gold. Every day in the morning, rise up and thank God for big ideas, the Big vision, the Big dreams, Big plans, else thanks God that I am going to be a big blessing to the people around me.

Always have a big vision in life. Life tries to reduce us, God tries to increase us.

God has unlimited supply, he is called the el - shaddai. God of the mountains, Gen. 28:3 says "I am God Almighty [El Shaddai]: be fruitful and increase in number"
God want you to own your own home, He is a can do God, if you will honor him with your life, he will honor you.
The Enemy does not want you to advance, there are forces working overtime to stop you.
We serve a supernatural God, God wants to increase you more than your normal salary.

I heard a man, who received a cheque from someone he does not even know, his close relative from a far, which he did not even think or imagine, that helped him to go to a whole new level, payout his debt, and buy a new home. Believe for great things.

There was a woman who was brought up in a dysfunctional environment, later through one of her friends in her neighborhood; she got to do high school. Then her dream was to study in Harward University one day, she mentioned in an TV interview. Hearing that, she got a call from Yale University one day, who were willing to give full scholarship to study, she took up that offer, completed college, now helping others win in their studies.

Let me tell you one thing, you cannot out-dream God, Gods dream for your life is bigger than your own, greater than you’ve ever imagined.

God thinks bigger, Gods dream is to make you happier, give you more peace, in your Business, Job, marriage and family life.

I heard of this man, who lost his wife, later he found a new wife, he had a happy life, later one day he wanted to buy some furniture for his home, but somehow he wanted to wait for the purchase, he put his trust in God, suddenly one day, out of the bloom he got a call from his son saying he won the lottery for 30 million dollars, and I am willing to buy new furniture and a eve new Car. God blessed than man, bigger than he expected.

By this, I am not asking to go and play the lottery and win. My dad, John Osteen said, if you win the lottery remember to tithe your income.

Deuteronomy 1: 11 says, May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised!

When John Osteen started the Lakewood church, they had 90 people, now we have around 90,000 people coming to Lakewood every week.
John Osteen’s books sold a total of 10000 copies, but God allowed me to sell more than 10 Million copies.
God says, you have not touched the surface of what he has in store for you.
I want to light a new fire on the inside, new mountains to climb, new opportunities. Raise your level of expectations.

Dikembe Mutombo, one of 7 childrens, lived in village in Congo,a village with so much sickness - no hospital, no growth. Mutombo originally intended to become a doctor; he attended Georgetown University on a USAID scholarship. Georgetown Hoyas basketball coach John Thompson recruited him to play basketball. He spoke almost no English when he arrived at Georgetown and studied in the ESL program. God put a dream in his heart, there was something different about this young person. He completed medicine, and later became a star basket ball player for the Houston Rockets; He later donated 15 million dollars to build a hospital at Congo.

This shows how God has an amazing future lined up for you. Allow God to increase you, God has already lined up the right people to get everything you need. Do something big in your life. Ask God to enlarge your territory, favor like you’ve never seen before.

You Have What it Takes

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you”
(2 Corinthians 9:10, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD

When Jesus sent His disciples out to heal the sick, meet their needs, and share the Gospel, He told them, “Give as freely as you have received” (Matthew 10:8). In other’s words, God has given you everything you need to do what He’s called you to do in this life. He has equipped you to be successful and has empowered you to overcome in this life. He’s given you seed to sow in order to have an abundant harvest in your future. You have what it takes!
God has placed seed in your hand today, but in order for that seed to produce, it has to be planted. It has to be watered. It has to be fertilized. Today, ask God to show you where to plant your seed. Make sure you are sowing in the right ground and tending to the seed He has given you. Remember, God has a good plan for your future. He has plans to bless you and increase you. Today, you have what it takes to move forward and receive the blessing He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for equipping me for every good work. Thank You for giving me good seed to sow! I invite You to guide my every step by Your precious Holy Spirit. Thank You for choosing me to be a part of Your plan. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Sowing Good Seeds

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life”
(Galatians 6:7–8, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

Whether you realize it or not, everything you are experiencing in your life today is a direct result of the seeds you’ve sown in your past. Today, you are planting seeds for the harvest in your future. Just as the farmer expects a crop from the seeds he sows, we can expect a harvest from the seeds we’ve sown, good or bad. That’s why we have to be deliberate about the seeds we are sowing. We have to wake up every day and set our minds on God’s Word and choose to speak His truth over our lives. We have to constantly evaluate our actions to make sure we are depositing good seeds so we can reap a good harvest in the future.
Why don’t you take some time right now to ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and mind? See if there are any negative seeds that you’ve sown in the past that need to be uprooted. Be deliberate about planting the Word of God in the soil of your heart. Sow good seeds into your future so you can reap the harvest of blessing God has designed for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for the system of sowing and reaping. Thank You for giving me good seed to sow! I ask that You search my heart and mind and show me where to sow my seed so I can reap the abundant harvest You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Give More, Have More

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty”
(Proverbs 11:24)

TODAY’S WORD

In the natural, it doesn’t make sense that you will have more if you give more. But God’s kingdom operates on the principle of sowing and reaping. This is one of the first things He established with Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis. He said, “As long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest.”
We have to realize that everything we need in this life has been given to us in seed form. We set the blessing of God into motion in our lives when we plant those seeds and give what we have. Galatians tells us that whatever we sow, we will reap. Seeds produce after their own kind. If you sow apple seeds, you reap apple trees. If you sow kindness and blessing, you reap kindness and blessing in the future. If you sow financial seeds, you’ll reap a financial harvest.
Today, no matter what you need, you have it in seed form. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to plant and water that seed. Trust Him because He is faithful to His Word. Know that when you give, it will come back to you in greater measure. When you give more, you have more. So sow a seed and watch what God will do!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for Your Word which is truth that sets me free! Today, I choose to sow good seeds so I can reap a good harvest. Guide my thoughts today. Direct my path. Use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Walking Through the Storm

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me”
(Psalm 23:4, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

Everyone faces the storms of life. Sometimes we have the faith to be delivered from the storms instantly; sometimes we have the faith to walk through the storms. But no matter which route you take, you can be sure that God is right there with you. He will equip you and sustain you. He will give you the grace, the supernatural empowerment, to make it through.
Today, maybe you are facing a storm and can’t quite see a way out. Maybe you’re not sure what the answer is. All you have to do is take it one step at a time by saying, “God, I know You have a good plan for my future.” “God, I am doing better today than I was yesterday.” “God, I know You are leading and guiding me.” With every step you take, know that God is doing a work in your life. Know that He is with you, and He will comfort you. Keep moving forward. Keep taking those steps of faith and keep walking through the storm into the place of victory He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for walking with me through every season of life. I thank You for being a shield of protection around me, for going before me and preparing the way. Keep me close to You and give me strength as I move forward into the victory You have for me! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further, Faster

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Your threshing season will overlap with the grape harvest, and your grape harvest will overlap with the season of planting grain. You will eat your fill and live securely in your own land”
(Leviticus 26:5, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD

I believe we are living in a day and age when God is accelerating His work in our lives! I believe that what used to take days, weeks and even years in times past, God will do in an instant in this day and age. In an instant, you can receive your breakthrough. In an instant, you can be promoted on your job. In an instant, you can receive your healing. In an instant, your relationship can be restored. In an instant, that child can change their ways.
Today, believe that God will take you further than you ever thought possible, faster than you ever thought possible. Trust that your times are in His hands. Know that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Just like in the days of old, God will accelerate your seasons, and He will thrust you into the blessing and victory He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Thank You for working behind the scenes on my behalf. I trust that my times are in Your hands. I know that You have a good plan for my future, so I open my heart and put my faith and trust totally in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Redeem the Time

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days”
(Ephesians 5:15–16, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD

Time is the most valuable commodity that we have in life. It’s more valuable than money. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. When you woke up this morning, God gave you a present called “today.” And with that gift comes a responsibility. The Scripture tells us to redeem the time, to make the most of every opportunity. That simply means don’t let it go to waste. Don’t live this day unfocused, unhappy, negative or defeated. Make the most of every day. God has entrusted you with His life. He has breathed His very breath into you. He has put gifts and talents on the inside of you. You have seeds of greatness deposited in you. You’re a person of destiny, and you have an assignment and a purpose to fulfill!
I encourage you today to evaluate how you are spending your time. Refocus your life. Let go of any distractions. Shake off any self-pity, any discouragement, any disappointments of the past and run your race with purpose. Be careful how you live and redeem the time so that you can fulfill the destiny He has prepared for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for the gift of today. I dedicate this day to You. I dedicate my mind, will and emotions to You. Use me this day for Your purposes and keep me on the path You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Accept God’s Plan

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“ ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’ ”
(Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

No matter what may be happening today, God has good things in store for your future! It may not be easy to see now, but God has already lined up a new beginning, new friendships and new opportunities for you.
Maybe you’ve experienced some setbacks, but don’t make the mistake of expecting the same for your future. Instead, accept God’s good plan for your life by declaring His truth. As believers, our attitude should be, “Even though the economy is down, I’m not worried. I know God is going before me, and He has promised He will make rivers in the desert.” Or, “The medical report may not look good, but I have another report that says God is restoring health unto me. I believe God has already released healing, health and victory in my future.” Or, you may have a child who is not on the right course. In the natural, it seems impossible. But our report should be, “I know God can do the impossible!”
Today, be encouraged and don’t give up on your tomorrows. Accept the good plan God has for you — a plan filled with hope, purpose, blessing and increase in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for giving me hope and a future. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for choosing me. Thank You for delighting in me. I invite You to renew my heart and mind to the good plans You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Accelerate

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“My times are in Your hand...”
(Psalm 31:15, NASB)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

One thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t always work on our timetable. In fact, He rarely does. But in a single moment, God can change your life! All throughout Scripture, we see examples of how God was working behind the scenes and instantly turned things around for His people. Scripture tells us He is the same yesterday, today and forever which means He can instantly turn things around for you, too!
You may be going through some difficulty today, but be encouraged because your times are in God’s hands. He wants to accelerate things in your favor. He wants to take you further than you dreamed possible and work in your life in ways beyond what you have ever imagined.
Let this truth sink down into your heart today. Resist discouragement by speaking His Word over your future. Keep standing. Keep hoping; keep believing because He is working behind the scenes. He’s going to accelerate your times and lead you into the life of victory He has for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, today I humbly come before You giving You all that I am. I trust that my times are in Your hands. I trust that You are working things out in my favor. I set my focus on You knowing that You are working things out for my good. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Just Agree with God!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“As it is written: ‘I have made you a father of many nations.’ He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed — the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not”
(Romans 4:17, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

Twenty years before Abraham ever had a child, God said to him, “Abraham, I have made you a father of many nations.” Notice God spoke to him like it had already happened, in the past tense. I’m sure Abraham thought, “God, you must have made a mistake. I’m not a father. I don’t even have one child. Abraham could have talked himself out of it; but instead, he chose to believe.
Today, you may be thinking, “I’m not blessed. I’m not confident. I’m not healthy. I’m not favored.” But when God says you’re blessed, don’t try to figure it out. Just agree with God and say, “I am blessed.” When God calls you prosperous, don’t go check your bank account. Don’t go look at the stock report. Just agree with God and say, “I am prosperous.” Things may look impossible. That’s all right. That’s the way things looked for Abraham. But sure enough, God’s promises came to pass, and he became the father of many nations.
Remember, when you agree with God, you are positioning yourself for a miracle. You are activating His truth in your life. When things look difficult, don’t agree with your circumstances, agree with His promises because He is faithful, and He will complete what He’s started in your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, I bless You and thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I receive Your promises as truth, no matter what is going on around me. Fill me with joy and peace as I hold fast to Your promises for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
